Welcome

Mano Lista Photography Workshops provides artists an environment in which photographers can experiment and push the boundaries of their creativity, finding inspiration in unique surroundings, while receiving the support that our knowledgeable community of artists offers.

A view from ZacoalcoWe seek to facilitate a mutually enriching cultural exchange between our workshop participants and the community in which we operate. We travel to areas of Mexico far from the tourist path, enjoying details of daily life not frequently seen by foreigners. We visit village festivals, artisans’ workshops, family-owned farms, sprawling markets, and small traditional villages.

In exchange for the inspiration that we receive from the community, we invite the public to celebrate with us at our final exhibition at Zacoalco’s Cultural Center. Additionally, a percentage of funds generated by group exhibitions are used for local scholarships in photography programs for individuals who might not otherwise be exposed to or be able to afford participating in this art class.
